Support

LiftJot support is handled by the developer at liftjot@gmail.com. Describe what you were trying to do and what happened. Your app version from Settings → About is helpful.

Protect your privacy: please start without attaching workout files or screenshots containing personal information. LiftJot’s feedback draft includes app version, platform, and app language, but no workout data.

Common questions

How do I move my log to another phone?

On the old phone, open Settings → Data controls → Create backup and save the .workoutlog file somewhere the new phone can access. On the new phone, open Settings → Data controls → Restore and select that file. This is the complete restore format for moving between supported iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.

Is my training log backed up automatically?

Do not rely on automatic OS backup. LiftJot deliberately configures its private app data for exclusion from supported automatic backup and transfer paths. Create a .workoutlog file yourself and keep it somewhere you trust.

The rest alert does not appear

LiftJot asks for notification permission when a rest timer first needs the system surface. If you declined it, enable LiftJot notifications in system settings. The timer inside LiftJot continues to work without permission. Device focus modes and notification settings can also hide or silence alerts.

Why does progress say there is not enough data?

LiftJot waits for enough performed history in the selected range before describing a trend. It avoids turning a small number of points into a confident-sounding claim.

How do I delete data?

Settings → Data controls includes Clear workout history. It removes workouts, sets, notes, and rest state while retaining exercises, categories, and preferences. Removing the app normally removes its private local data, subject to platform behavior. Delete any CSV or .workoutlog files separately wherever you stored them.

I found a bug or want a feature

Use Settings → About → Send feedback, or email liftjot@gmail.com. If the issue concerns an import, first name the source app, export type, LiftJot version, and exact error—do not attach the file unless requested and you are comfortable sharing it.
